Casey Nichols joins the magnetic gearing research team

Casey Nichols joins the magnetic gearing research team for the summer, after being awarded a NC Space Grant undergraduate research scholarship.  Casey is as Mechanical Engineering Technology major who was recently recognized as an outstanding junior at the ET department awards ceremony.  Casey’s summer research will focus on improving the manufacturability of our magnetic gearing topologies for potential aerospace applications.
