I’m happy to announce that Philip Bard (from the Applied Energy and Electromechanical Systems Masters program) has landed a job in his beloved home state of Maine, where he will be working at Kepware, which was recently bought by PTC.
Kepware’s software solutions for the Industrial Automation Industry bridge the communication gap between diverse hardware and software applications.
Philip has been an remarkable student and researcher, eagerly jumping onto every new piece of equipment that has come into the lab. His LinkedIn profile remains the gold standard that I recommend as a sample to all students. Even though he is moving, he’ll still be coming back to Charlotte in the Fall for the small matter of defending his thesis.
