During my trip to Puerto Rico this summer, I was fortunate to visit the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón. Sagrado is the oldest educational project in Puerto Rico. The university was founded in 1880 when three nuns from Havana, Cuba landed in Puerto Rico to found a school. The school is well known for its School of health and Sciences. Located in the center of Santurce, in the capital city of San Juan, a diverse vibrant neighborhood, close to art, culture, entertainment and sightseeing, and just one metro stop from the financial district.
Like much of Puerto Rico, I found Sagrado slightly worn by the sun, but filled with amazing people and charm!
