Our current project cover two areas. In one we use machine learning and AI to capture knowledge of manufacturing process capability from curated datasets of design represented with shape, material, and quality attributes such as tolerances.
In another, we create computational geometry algorithms that consider part design as a composition of pieces like a 3D puzzle with applications in sustainable manufacturing and cyber security.
