Our research is centered around creating wearable sensors that are not only flexible and comfortable but also capable of providing accurate and real-time health data. These sensors can monitor a variety of physiological parameters, enabling early detection and management of health conditions. This represents a significant advancement in the field of occupational health and safety, leveraging cutting-edge sensor technology to create safer and more efficient workplaces.

Research focus

    Projects

    We have several ongoing projects aimed at pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with wearable sensor technology. Some of our key projects include:

    1. Performance Evaluation: Investigate the application of wearable flexible sensors for quantitative evaluation of worker task performance. The insights gained from this analysis will be used to develop innovative tools and processes designed to enhance task performance.
    2. Remote Monitoring: The implementation of real-time surveillance, transmission, and evaluation of worker health data, leveraging advanced telemetry and data analysis techniques
    3. Big Data Analysis: Employing advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methodologies for the processing and interpretation of voluminous data derived from wearable sensors, thereby facilitating informed determinations pertaining to worker health.
    4. Sensor Materials: The fabrication of these novel wearable sensors necessitates the exploration and utilization of innovative materials and methodological approaches, thereby pushing the boundaries of current technological capabilities.
