We are excited to announce that Dr. Tipton has been appointed to the board of directors at the Polymer Center of Excellence. This is a great honor for me, and I am looking forward to serving in this role. The Polymer Center of Excellence is a world-renowned organization that is dedicated to advancing the science and technology of polymers. I have been a member of the Polymer Center for many years, and I have always been impressed by the organization’s commitment to excellence. I am excited to join the board of directors at the Polymer Center, and I look forward to working with the other members of the board to continue to advance the mission of the organization. I believe that the Polymer Center is an important resource for the polymer community, and I am committed to helping the organization to continue to grow and thrive.
In his role as a board member, he will be working to:
- Advocate for the Polymer Center and its mission
- Help to ensure that the Polymer Center has the resources it needs to succeed
- Represent the Polymer Center to the broader polymer community

About Dr. Roger Tipton
Dr. Roger Tipton is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a leading expert in the field of polymer science and engineering. Dr. Tipton is also a director at the Sustainable Seas Institute.
