Wireless Experimental Vibration Analysis of the Mississippi River over Prairie Du Chien
Sponsor: Teng & Associates
UNC Charlotte will be installing a wireless vibration sensor network on span 5 of the Mississippi River over Prairie Du Chien Bridge on USH 18 E/W. The structure is a steel tied-arch bridge with a span length of 462 ft. Details on the 2nd generation wireless sensing platform, instrumentation array, and preliminary results will be posted following anticipated testing in June 2011.
