Assistantship Opportunity for PhD Students

Interested in an Advanved Degree or Assistantships or Conducting Research?


We are currently looking for several Ph.D. Students. The research area has some flexibility and can fall into one or more of the following general categories:

  • Logistics Network Optimization
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Production/Service Planning and Scheduling
  • Lean Six Sigma
  • Energy Systems Modeling
  • Healthcare Systems Modeling
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Environmental and Sustainable Systems Modeling


Ideal candidate will have a strong passion for research with strong math, analytic, programming, computer and communication skills. Academic training in operations research, simulation, and statistics as well as a degree in engineering, computer science or a math are preferred. Relevant industry experience and having at least one industrial/systems engineering/operations research degree are additional plusses but not required.


The students will be enrolled in the systems optimization and management track under the INES (Infrastructure and Environmental Systems) Ph.D. program
