We are currently looking for several Ph.D. Students. The research area has some flexibility and can fall into one or more of the following general categories:
- Logistics Network Optimization
- Supply Chain Management
- Production/Service Planning and Scheduling
- Lean Six Sigma
- Energy Systems Modeling
- Healthcare Systems Modeling
- Artificial Intelligence
- Environmental and Sustainable Systems Modeling
Ideal candidate will have a strong passion for research with strong math, analytic, programming, computer and communication skills. Academic training in operations research, simulation, and statistics as well as a degree in engineering, computer science or a math are preferred. Relevant industry experience and having at least one industrial/systems engineering/operations research degree are additional plusses but not required.
The students will be enrolled in the systems optimization and management track under the INES (Infrastructure and Environmental Systems) Ph.D. program .
