About me

I joined ECE Department of UNC at Charlotte as an Assistant Professor in July 2024. Before UNC, I spent four years in industry, working at nLight Inc. as a Senior Laser Scientist and Intel Corporation as a Lithography Module Engineer from 2020 to 2024. Prior to my industrial career, I was with University of Southern California (2019-2020), University of Central Florida (2017-2019), and University of Notre Dame (2016-2017) as postdoctoral researchers. I graduated with Ph.D. from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, in Electrical Engineering in 2016.

My main research interest can be broadly defined in the areas of Applied Optics and Laser Sciences. Specifically, I have been recently doing research in the following topics:
