This is a great honor for me, and I am looking forward to serving in this role. The Polymer Center of Excellence is a world-renowned organization that is dedicated to advancing the science and technology of polymers. I have been a member of the Polymer Center for many years, and I have always been impressed by the organization&#8217;s commitment to excellence. I am excited to join the board of directors at the Polymer Center, and I look forward to working with the other members of the board to continue to advance the mission of the organization. I believe that the Polymer Center is an important resource for the polymer community, and I am committed to helping the organization to continue to grow and thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his role as a board member, he will be working to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advocate for the Polymer Center and its mission<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help to ensure that the Polymer Center has the resources it needs to succeed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Represent the Polymer Center to the broader polymer community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to the Polymer Center, and I am excited to get started in this new role. I would like to thank the board of directors for their confidence in me, and I look forward to working with them to make the Polymer Center an even more successful organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Dr. Roger Tipton<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Roger Tipton is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He is a leading expert in the field of polymer science and engineering. Dr. Tipton is also a director at the Sustainable Seas Institute. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Tipton&#8217;s research interests include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Polymer processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polymer characterization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polymer recycling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Polymer composites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Polymer Center of Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Polymer Center of Excellence is a world-renowned organization that is dedicated to advancing the science and technology of polymers.
