Dr. Roger Tipton has taught the following courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mechatronics 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mechatronics 2<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Measurements and Instrumentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Machine Analysis and Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Senior Design <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Foundations of Engineering<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Lab I<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Lab II<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teaching Philosophy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Experiential learning where students apply theory is important in preparing students for life outside the classroom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I have made it a point to ensure DEI are meaningfully incorporated into the classroom as appropriate and meaningful to the course content.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outreach<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our lab supports a thriving entrepreneurship community in the Charlotte region.
