{"id":131,"date":"2015-07-13T14:27:40","date_gmt":"2015-07-13T18:27:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/coefs.charlotte.edu\/okeen\/?p=131"},"modified":"2025-01-09T15:14:02","modified_gmt":"2025-01-09T20:14:02","slug":"xueying-wang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coefs.charlotte.edu\/okeen\/2015\/07\/xueying-wang\/","title":{"rendered":"Xueying Wang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Xueying Brown (Wang) graduated with her MS and PhD in Civil Engineering in 2020.\u00a0 Her PhD research focused on the role of environmental buffers in potable water reuse.\u00a0 This work was sponsored by the National Institutes for Water Resources in collaboration with the USGS.\u00a0 However, she worked on a variety of projects during her time at UNC Charlotte.\u00a0 Before joining our program, she graduated with BS in Biology from UNC Charlotte and<span style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\"> worked as a research assistant in the UNC Charlotte&#8217;s Ecology and Biogeochemistry of Watersheds lab for three years as the resident aquatic entomologist. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert;color: initial\">During her time in our graduate program, Xueying has earned multiple highly competitive awards, including Thomas L.
