This course focuses on the calculation of equilibrium of forces on physical bodies. An important skill developed in this course is understanding a stated problem and following a logical sequence of steps to calculate the solution of the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To help in developing this skill we will use the <a href=\"https:\/\/coefs.charlotte.edu\/jsraquet\/files\/2011\/11\/EngineeringCalculationSheet.pdf\" target=\"blank\">Engineering Calculation Sheet<\/a>\u00a0for all homework assignments, all quizzes and all exams\u00a0submitted for credit in MEGR2141.There is a <a href=\"https:\/\/coefs.charlotte.edu\/jsraquet\/files\/2011\/11\/CentroidCalculationSheet.pdf\" target=\"blank\">Centroid Calculation Sheet<\/a> that may be used for centroid calculations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Engineering Mechanics I: Statics is the initial and foundational course in the Engineering Mechanics curriculum.
