Dr. Deeba presented an overview of the ongoing research at QUEST in the 2024 Biomedical Sciences Symposium at the Dubois Center, Charlotte on September 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUEST welcome visitors from the Polytechnic School Pontifical Catholic University of Parana (PUCPR), Brazil in Sep, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUEST lab had a strong presence with one oral presentation and one poster presentation at IEEE EMBC 2024 in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Deeba chaired the session on ‘Fair Technology for Maternal & Women’s’ Health & Wellbeing’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUEST lab members attended the 2024 ULTRASONC (the Ultrasound Research Association of North Carolina)) research symposium in May 2024. Mekdes Wubet, Salman Jubair Jim, and William Hempstead presented posters on our ongoing work for developing a point-of-care quantitative ultrasound tool to predict pregnancy outcomes. Dr. Deeba gave a talk with an overview of the theoretical development of our QUS algorithm and the potential applications in placenta-mediated diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

E<\/strong>mily Peacock, a PhD student in Dr. Antoniya Georgieva\u2019s team at the University of Oxford (one of the Welcome Leap In Utero Project participants) visited QUEST from June 12 – June 15, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
