The complexity of biomedical issues requires collaborative and multi-disciplinary efforts for optimal advancements. Collaborators from the Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science and Biology department at UNCC as well as from Orthopedic Surgery department at the Carolina Medical Center are involved in all projects. There are two well-equipped research laboratories in the Mechanical Engineering department and in the Biology department.
